At Sunbeams we offer a range of spray tans with Tara from TLC Tanning. Tara is an extremely experienced spray tanning Technician and you won't find any better anywhere in Crawley. We charge from £19 to £25 for a full body spray tan and the full range of costs can be obtained through reception.
Preparation; (Very important)
To achieve the best tan you should use no other tanning products 5 days prior to your appointment, at least 12 hours before, you must exfoliate and moisturise, at least 24 hours before, make sure you have completed any waxing or shaving. Prepare your skin correctly as this can have a huge effect on the end result and life time of the tan. On the day of the appointment, make sure you have NO body lotion, deodorant, perfume or any other substance containing oil on your skin, as this can act as a barrier to the tan.
Attending the appointment;You will receive a consultation with Tara and will be taken to our private spray tanning room where you will enter our spray tanning booth, Tara will then commence applying the product. this will take about 10 minutes to complete. When you leave the salon, it is advised that you wear loose dark clothing and flip-flops as colour can rub off.
After the appointment;
You will receive full after care advice from Tara..

Q. How long will my tan last?
This depends on how well you prepare and take care of your skin and spray tan. Usually 7 days, healthy skin tans best.
Q. Will spray tanning protect me from getting sunburnt?
NO. When going into the sun you ust wear sun protection.
Q. My last spray tan was different from the previous one even though it was done in the same salon using the same product?
It comes down to your skin. Your skin is a living thing and is affected by many things like, the time of the month, season, the food you eat, stress, medication etc. All these things can alter your tan.
We recommend having your spray tan 48 hours before any pre-planned event however, you can still have it done the previous day so long as you follow all the prep and after care rules shown above.
